This is a process where the wood flooring is adapting or adjusting to its new climate i.e the humidity and temperature of the room it will be laid in. Depending on the time of the year, we recommend 7-10 days for solid wood flooring and 2-3 days for engineered wood flooring. This should be done before fitting to avoid it adjusting dramatically once it has been laid. To do this we recommend leaving the floor in the room/area it will be fitted in (can be stacked, with packaging opened along the box, plastic removed), with the regular living temperature and humidity set.
