• Bevelled Edges – Or V groove is where the edges of a flooring board are sanded at 45 degrees. When joining up to another board it will form a V. There are a lot of reasons this is done, To make each board stand out more, safety from catching the edge of a board, or to facilitate mating with another piece without the look of unevenness.
  • Click System Profile – This is a joining profile where each board clicked into each other. This profile makes it more time-efficient to install no nails or glue is required to install in a floating finish.
  • Square Edges – This is where the edges of a flooring board are simply square. Usually done with unfinished and give a more subtle effect.
  • Tongue & Groove Profile (T&G) – This is a fitting system where one side of the board will have a tongue sticking out of the board and the other side will have a groove to fit the tongue into the board so that they slot together.
